RURAL ECONOMY FINANCING SCHEME
Objective
The scheme is generally created to provide financial assistance to Bumiputera entrepreneurs, in particular those who are operating in the rural areas.
Maximum Financing Rate: 5.0 per cent per annum.
Maximum: 5 to 7 years.
Maximum Financing: Either a maximum amount of RM250 thousand or RM500 thousand depending on the duration that the business has been operating.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Wholly owned by Bumiputera and registered with Companies Commission of Malaysia.
2. Project is carried out on full-time basis and located outside town areas.

1. Machinery.
2. Working capital.
Eligible Sector
1. Manufacturing.
2. Services.
3. Agricultural activities.
4. Supporting activities which are associated with production.
5. Tourism.
