AMANAH IKHTIAR MALAYSIA (AIM)
INITIATIVE FINANCING SCHEME
Objective
This scheme is specifically intended to alleviate the poverty rate, particularly in the rural areas throughout Malaysia by providing financing to poor households so that they can undertake any viable economic activities that can generate more income for their families.
Maximum Financing Rate: No financing rate
Maximum Tenure: 3 years
Minimum Financing: RM1 thousand.
Maximum Financing: RM10 thousand.
The Agency
AIM is the agency which oversees the running of the scheme and all applications should be forwarded to the address as shown below.
Eligibility Criteria
The threshold household income is below the two-third quartile of existing poverty level or
1. RM285 per month (RM57 per capita) in Peninsular Malaysia.
2. RM344 per month (RM69 per capita) in Sarawak.
3. RM401 per month (RM80 per capita) in Sabah.
Additionally, every applicant must have a strong desire to uplift his or her income through profitable project.
