PNS FRANCHISEE FINANCING SCHEME

Objective

The scheme is to provide financial support for start-up capitals or alternatively, for established franchised businesses, its consumption can be for the realisation of the applicants’ growth strategies. The big picture is to multiply the number of Middle Level Bumiputera Entrepreneurs (MLBE) in franchise businesses.

Maximum Tenure: 5 years
Minimum Financing: RM20thousand
Maximum Financing: RM500thousand or 80 per cent from the total project cost

Eligibility Criteria

1. The company is registered with the Registrar of Franchise (ROF).
2. The company is member of Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA).
3. 100 per cent the equity is owned by Bumiputeras.
4. At least 51 per cent of the members of the Board of Directors are Bumiputeras and similarly, the managerial positions are formulated to reflect the same spirit.
